École Technique Supérieure d’Architecture (ETSAV), Barcelone, Espagne - Quatrième année, plan nouvelle ville et école d’art, Tamansourt, Morocco, project avec Beatrice Bonzanigo // New City Plan and a school of art in Tamansourt
| 7 km far away from Marrakech the actual king of Morocco proposed to plan a whole new city, named Tamansourt. Its typology will be repeated for other 14 satellite cities in the country. This future cities will have the function to escape the problem of the bidonvilles that grow around the main cities of Morocco. | Our project started from finding on the existing plan different areas which we divided in 4 main ones : a “dense city”, where they already built; a “less dense city”, where we found an existing bidonville; a “intercambio city”, where we see a change between the city and a beginning of a green space; a “green city” where we found the biggest areas with fields and trees. | The concept works around the transformations we have and create between these different areas, starting from a compact area to end in a big-scale park. This changing will be in both horizontal and vertical dimensions. For every areas we imagine different functions : working and central stations; turism and market; living and schools; living and free time spaces. |
